Hey you!
Today I would like to talk to you about something that I have been
asked a lot by people. "Can anyone learn to draw?" – I have been faced
with this question many times.
One other question, that I get asked often is whether any age is too
old to learn art. But, we will talk about that at another time.
A debate that was not even funny
Once when I was watching Family Feud, one of the answers for "an
ability you are born with", included drawing. This made me think a lot.
There are people who actually believe that drawing is a talent that one
is born with.
I disagree wholeheartedly to this notion. In fact, I've even had
pretty heated debates with friends about this. I strongly believe that
anyone can learn art. There are defined steps that can help you get
there.
Talent Vs Learning
I learned art, pretty late into my life. I was around 17 or 18 years
old, when I enrolled at the Arts Center. People tell me that I always
had the knack for art, because I was into video games and graphic
novels.
But, I don't believe this to be true. If you look at the childhood
drawings of the professional artists around you, you will see that they
aren't that great either. In fact, when I saw the drawings I made,
when I first started out, seemed as if I was drawing with my feet!
In fact, they were so bad, that I actually threw them all out.
Looking back, I wish I hadn't done that. Then I could have shown you
guys the difference between my drawing from then and now.
A technical skill
Anyway, getting back to the point. Drawing is like any other
technical skill. You need to learn how to get better. It's surprising
how people dismiss their ability to draw, thinking they are not born
with that talent.
But, ask any professional artist, and they will tell you that, at
some point in their lives, they decided to learn to draw. Many artists,
including Hollywood celebrities, have gone on record stating that
having rules and guidelines limit your scope to learn. This is
absolutely not true!
I think that having rules, can actually help you grow as an artist.
It gives you the guidance you need to develop your skills. I have never
seen a child drawing and thought, "Wow, that is absolutely life-like!"
Developed over the years
Learning to draw, is a skill that needs years of observation, and
understanding the rules of proportion and perspective. You can have a
better eye for the details, but anyone can learn how to draw, with the
right set of rules and guidelines.
What do you think?
Tell me your thoughts on the topic, and what you think about my
doodle, in the comments section of the video. There is also a surprise
announcement for my followers! Check it out, now! . Don't forget our artist pencil case
So when I need to think fast, I keep my pencils strapped to my sketchbook using the arm-adillo. So check out the draw artist bag.

Stop Jittery Hands While Drawing - Draw Now
Many people are faced with the problem of trembling hands when they draw so that while following a line, the lines are wiggly or something similar. It just points to one thing that is that you need to draw more regularly and constantly. It's all a beginner thing actually and all you need is more time to draw so that your skill can be improved while also increasing your pen control. It is really a topic that comes so much among the artists who start and it has the potential to stop or discourage such people from passing the beginner level in the world of drawing.
Basically, this shaking hands has to do with the level of dexterity in your hands, which means that it is low and you need to begin to practice more. It's like when you start running and then you get the shin splits, which is when your shin aches as a result of running you. So, really, it's a problem that occurs because you're just starting out as an artist.
Above is the arm-adillo artist pencil case bag .To get rid of this problem, there are some exercises that you can engage that will help improve your dexterity and give you better control. You can start by drawing circles about the paper from your sketchbook because a lot of the fights usually occurs when you try to get a bow or a certain part of the image that you have in your head so that it is probably one Curve that you want to draw From the bow, but becomes difficult. Why? It is because you think it over and this happens because you do not pull that curve a lot. This means that you lack exercise; You need to gain more control and get control by doing more. Now it does not matter what you draw; It could be circle, square or any shape, but just make sure you draw regularly. In the process of drawing one of the forms you choose, try to make it as clean as possible, as this will help your progress. You need to draw lines that radiate trust and trust comes only when you draw more and also when you know what you draw. A confident line will be drawn without breaking; Immediately drawn and smooth. Another thing you can do is to have markers or two points at two different points on your paper and then try to connect them with one shot. This will really help your lines go as smoothly as time goes so helps you build your confidence. Another is to draw just like an abstract shape and try to darken it. Then while drawing, try to turn the paper, making it comfortable for you especially with curves and then not just your wrist alone but put your elbow in it. Ease yourself into it and do not fight your body but basically, just do more and try to exercise as much as possible every day. You need an artist bag supply case. So when I think fast, I keep my pencils on my sketchbook strapped with the arm-adillo. To check the pen case. It is perfect for going out and drawing, for art on the go here.

Many people who are interested in drawing make a common question that is very important and the question is, "Where should I start? The question arises from the fact that there are a lot of tutorials and videos on YouTube, How to draw or what it will draw is so amazing and overwhelming that only the confused and stranded people. Thus, people are trying to find a starting point for your journey as an artist, but it's quite simple really, just decide what you want If you want to be a portrait artist or a car or landscape artist artist, but whatever it is, just make sure it is something , Which resonates with you and comes naturally.
Now, to start your journey, you need to get a sketchbook instead of using leaves and then cross them up piling up in a corner of the room. Do not do that; A sketchbook is better and cheaper, because every time you work with it, you will go through the previous work and the location of a defect or others, thus making room for improvement. So next step is to start drawing as it is desired to maintain their skills and improve the control over the instrument that is used to pull and even within the hand muscles and shoulders. All this is part of being a beginner and is the frequency of drawing that will bring the necessary improvement.
So certainly in the beginning, it will be very bad or rough and not too pleasing to the eye, but not bothered or killed, but follows; Try to keep your drawing for at least an hour for five to six days a week and the more you do, the more it gets better and the more likely you will zoom over the beginner's stage soon. Why You Need to Use Pen
Pencil Case Tool |
By doing this, but also he taught my brain that everything left was important. So I was much more careful with what promises and what did not. This resulted in my other means. By the time I started working in painting, I noticed a hand care.
I've seen a lot of reluctance to do so. I have a friend who refuses to work with the pen because it is extremely afraid of the results you will get. So if this is you, I urge you to overcome it. Here are some things you can do. You do not have to use your notebook main drawing. You could get a stack of printing paper and start to go through that. Another thing you could do is get a special sketchbook to separate pen drawing. If quarantine the pen drawing on a specific book, which will relieve pressure. Another thing you can do is create a "sketchbook garbage" which is what I do. Buy a sketchbook specifically to get all my warm-ups off the road. Basically it is a notebook in which nothing matters in it. That helps me get into the spirit of drawing and helps me to my new knowledge to the surface of the fingertips.Sketch in pen will be all about leaving your comfort zone. If you are an artist who is almost rare for you to leave your comfort zone to grow and learn. You will not get anywhere doing business as usual. You do not want to spin your wheels years only to realize that I wasted so much time on the same as ever. So really, it's time to break the chains of fear and try something new that is when you grow and progress as an artist. Do not be afraid of the unknown, because sometimes, the unknown is good, as it gives you the urge to achieve greater and in the process, discover a new world of reality than ever thought possible. Remember this simple fact: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained"
So when i need to use pens, I keep them strapped to my armadillo pencil case bag. Its a bag that is constantly being used. Its an artist case thats really pushing the limit. Check it out at: http://arm-adillo.com/blog-pencil-bag-pen.html

How To Get Over an Art Plateau
2 of my paintings |
When you are making progress on anything in any medium will naturally phase where it gets stuck in learning. When I started I was improving at a very steady and fast pace. The day I hit my first major plateau was a big disappointment for me. I did not know how to react and almost paralyzed all my career for some time. Eva thigh had teachers around me who told me what was going on, I still could not help feeling that maybe never would. Plateau that lasted for almost a year. Honestly, I could have gotten over that plague much faster if you knew what I knew now. So let me go about it.
1) Take breaks - I never gave a single prolonged interruption when he was practicing first. Some people argue that that's what you should do when you start to learn a skill. Put in enough mileage so that it becomes a habit. That may be great, but take periodic breaks every few hours can give space to breathe and digest to look at what you are doing. Programmed pauses that allows you to reset your brain and recover. If you are in the gym and work a muscle every day, it is not given time to grow and recover muscles much stronger. Do not keep banging your head against a metal wall, because it will not yield positive results but will leave scars. Look at the brain just sometimes need to be allowed to stop thinking, therefore, the recommendation for breaks. It could be in the form of a walk, a movie, spending time with loved ones or just sitting in the park, but whatever you choose, remember to take breaks.
2) Understand that are like elsewhere Everybody used to see certain students accelerate very quickly in class and become a great success early in his career. I used to see people as if they were something different than I do. It was an excuse he had created in my mind if I failed. I needed to understand that they were the same as me, and there was no excuse for failure. Once I realized if a person could do something, then I knew I was capable of doing so. So stop limiting yourself; in fact, if you really want to succeed as an artist, then you need to think of the impossible and dream bigger than you. You never feel that you can not achieve a particular thing; Remember, you are the architect of your life and there is no excuse for failure.
3) Have Fun - This was the hardest part for me. I do everything routine task. No matter what I've done in my life I have become work and you felt like work. This was something that was very difficult for me and still overcome times. Remember why you started to draw. It was about creating things out of my mind and leisurely fun with it. I started to take my ego into the equation and it was drawing to have a good result and not the drawing for the sake of drawing itself.
Well, you have to learn to enjoy art; that is, when you will be able to put more life into what will draw and you will be satisfied. So no matter how hectic your schedule might be, learn to just have fun with art and play a little because it reduces stress and opens the mind to new possibilities. So these are some things I got over my plateau in record time. I hope you found these tips helpful. And graphic happy.

How to Be the Best Artist
Invader Zim Realistic Form |
1) Identify your weaknesses - This is something that will be obvious if you are a beginner. It might be a little difficult if you are a beginner. Again a teacher comes in handy for this. Think about what you draw the least. 2) Guidance weaknesses and train - Get all videos or tutorials you can and digest. And grab some scrap paper or a sketchbook not take care and repeatedly until you have a good idea of how to draw from his mind. Learning the structure of something is the most important part of memorize. 3) Program - Something worn on the head when working on something new, I just feel like I could be finishing another project. However, programming can really do what you never feel anxious or strange in the drawing something that normally does not. 4) keep practicing -. Needless to say that 'practice makes perfect "and if you really want to improve in the art, then it has to be a habit Make it a part of you almost like a second skin so that the first thing on your mind when you wake up is the art and the last thing on your mind before falling asleep is art. you will discover that it will be easier with time and even yourself be surprised by the rapid progress you're making. All professionals go through this process. The process of decomposition and fragmentation little things to make big changes. You will discover what you need to improve immediately the resources to help. These resources could be out of himself. Creative people always want to do everything themselves. Simply are not enough hours in the day to learn on their own all aspects of the art game. A much smarter way would be to optimize their learning and take the most efficient route there. Resources that will help are the Internet, more advanced artists, and the opinions of outsiders. Remember that you will be there. The most important tool we have is honesty. Most people will lie to themselves and constantly be biased. The fairness opinion will help you improve. Overall, just keep an open mind so you are ready to learn new things as you go forward in your journey to become a better artist; then make sure you continue to push that you get to optimize their capabilities to any desired height. What can you do now to make everything so much easier? Immediately begin cleaning your workspace organized their supplies. And make a list of things you can do. The armadillo makes much more organized part of his life. If you are an artist who is a bigger part than you think. The bag can be purchased at a artist here. -Thank you
